Abergavenny Borough Band is recruiting!

Enjoyment and quality performance are our top priorities in the band. After all, banding is a hobby to be enjoyed which comes from doing your best when performing, and from being amongst friends. Life member, Andrew Richards, says "the band is like a family and like all families there are a few disagreements. But the overwhelming atmosphere is harmonious with lots of  fun, hard work, trips and social occasions". Our MD, Lana Tingay, has certainly brought a lot of humour to the band room with her jokes but she also brings out the best musical performance from players and the band as a whole.

With a full and exciting schedule planned for the year ahead, a strong & motivated work ethic, and friendly atmosphere, Abergavenny Borough Band is seeking the following additional members:

Please contact the Band Secretary or Chair for an informal discussion, or to arrange to attend a rehearsal. All enquiries will be treated in strictest confidence. Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:30pm.
